Sarah Sturdevant is a Los Angeles-based composer, violinist, singer, and songwriter. She specializes in writing and composing musicals, small ensemble and orchestral works, and scoring films. In October 2023, she premiered her first full-length original musical, The Seven Deadly Seas, at Occidental College to an audience of 200 people. In July 2026, she produced the show with Pacific Opera Project, selling out all three performances. Her other musicals include The Ten Toms of Dr. Styles with the book and lyrics by Frank Semerano. Sarah has also scored a handful of short films and has been a featured artist on pop albums and orchestral recordings. She is currently working on her next full-length musical titled Silver and Lead, a Western romance inspired by Spaghetti Westerns from the sixties and seventies.
